For 4 portions 

500 to 750 gr strawberries

1 jar double cream 

0.5 tsp vanilla extract

2 tbsp icing sugar



Cut the strawberries in half or quarter.

In a bowl, whisk the cream with the vanilla extract and icing sugar until it thickens. 

If you want the cream to be liquid, don’t whisk too long. If you prefer a thick cream, whisk a bit longer. 

Spoon strawberries and the cream into serving bowls in alternating layers.
