Ingredients:

600 g Girolles
60 g butter
2 garlic cloves
1 shallot
2 handfuls of fresh parsley
Salt & pepper

 

Method:

1) Prepare the girolles.
2) Peel and finely chop the garlic cloves and shallots.
3) Thinly chop the parsley.
4) Melt the butter in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add the garlic and shallots, cook for 2/3 minutes and add the girolles. Cook for 5/6 minutes, stirring occasionally. Increase the heat to high and sauté the girolles for a few minutes. Season with salt and pepper, add the chopped parsley and serve.

 

Little tip!
It’s important to clean the mushrooms before consuming them.
Girolles are delicate; remove the dirt with a brush or a knife. Be gentle!
Don’t clean them in water. If they are large, cut lengthways and you can trim the bottom of the stem and they are ready to cook!
