Friggitelli Al Pomodoro

For 2 to 4 people


  • 300 gr friggitelli 
  • 1 can Italian chopped tomatoes 
  • 1 onion 
  • 1 garlic clove 
  • Olive oil 
  • Salt & Pepper

30 minutes 


Remove the petiole and remove the seeds with a knife. 

Clean under running water. 

Peel and slice the garlic clove and onion.

Heat some olive oil in a frying-pan, add the garlic and onion and cook for 5 minutes over medium heat until translucent. Add the peppers and cook on each side a few minutes. Add the chopped tomatoes, cover the frying pan with a lid and cook for 20 minutes. 

Season with salt and pepper.

You can serve hot or cold!
