Brown Butter And Oat Plum
4 large plums
4 flat white peaches 
1 tbsp cornflour
50g caster sugar
Crumble topping
85g soft light brown sugar
75g unsalted butter
75g plain flour
75g jumbo oats
50g ground almonds
25g flaked almonds
Preheat oven to 160c
In a small sauce pan over medium to low heat melt the butter.  Using a whisk stirring often until the butter has cooked to a nutty brown colour.  Pour into a bowl and set aside.
Combine all the dry crumble ingredients then pour over the liquid browned butter.  Mix with a spoon until you have a crumbly clumpy topping
Slice fruits into wedges.  Usually about 8 wedges per fruit.  Mix with the cornflour and sugar.  Add additional sugar if you want a sweeter crumble.   Tip fruits into a baking dish.
Top with the crumble mixture.  Pressing gently to stop the crumble from falling off. 
Bake at 160c for 3-45mins or until the crumble is deep golden and the juices from the fruits have bubbles up the sides.
Serve warm with custard(of course😊)
