Ingredients
600g pork sausage meat
1 onion
20g butter
1 apple
A handful sage leaves
100g breadcrumbs
Method
Preheat the oven to 180C.
Finely chop the onion. Heat the butter in a frying pan and cook until tender.
Peel, core and finely chop the apple and the sage. In a bowl, put the onion and breadcrumbs and mix it together with your hands. Add the sausage meat, the apple and the sage, season with salt and pepper. Put the mixture into a lightly greased baking dish, cover with foil and cook for 30 minutes, then uncover and cook for a further 10/15 minutes, until slightly crunchy on top.
